STOP THE HEMP BAN!

In 2025, major federal actions are underway that could criminalize hemp-derived medicine and CBD products once again.

• Attorney General Coalition: A bipartisan group of state attorneys general has urged Congress to close legal loopholes and redefine hemp, pressuring for prohibition.
   
• House Action: The House Appropriations Subcommittee has advanced legislation banning most consumable cannabinoids — including Delta-8 and THC-O — targeting a broad range of items.
   
• State Bans Expanding: Many states have already enacted their own restrictions, creating a fragmented and confusing patchwork of regulations.
